Power-to-Gas (P2G) is the only technology capable of providing storage at terawatt-hour scale without location limitations. Several connector stations on Interstate 5, Santa Barbara, and on I15 to Las Vegas have also been deployed. When hydrogen is used in fuel cell applications, maintenance should be very minimal.
